Your Role and Impact

The Project Coordinator will help maintain an engaging online learning environment and work closely with the ILA team to plan, organize, and execute project and event requirements. This position ensures the success of each cohort and the program as a whole by:

  • Coordinating project activities and program logistics.
     
  • Monitoring progress, tracking milestones, and managing timelines.
     
  • Communicating clearly with participants and stakeholders.
     
  • Preparing curriculum materials and maintaining information systems.
     
  • Supporting outreach and marketing campaigns for upcoming cohorts.
     

What You Bring

To succeed as a Project Coordinator, candidates should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of related experience. 
  • A foundational understanding of project and program management principles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
     

Experience that sets you apart:

  • Experience in project coordination, events coordination, program management/operations, curriculum coordination or event planning; or a combination of training, education, and experience with comparable skills and proven success.
     
  • Online program or curriculum coordination experience using tools such as Google Docs, Asana, Slack, Hootsuite, Canvas, and Zoom.
     
  • Experience coordinating events, fundraisers, or programs and using communications platforms like Hootsuite or Mailchimp.
     
  • Experience working with American Indian, Alaska Native, or other Tribal governments, communities, or organizations.
